Uro-oncology clinic at the Olivia-Newton John Centre - Wednesday Mornings (Weekly)
This is a multidisciplinary clinic (including urologists, urology nurses, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists) for all newly diagnoses or cancer related conditions.

General Urology Clinic - Thursday Mornings and Friday Afternoons (Weekly)
This is a general urology clinic led by consultant urologists and registrars for new urology referrals and follow-up patients with general urology conditions (most commonly kidney stones, BPH, incontinence and urinary infections).

The Prostate Clinic - Monday Afternoons (Weekly)
For patients with prostate related conditions including those returning for prostate biopsy results.

TRUS (rectal prostate biopsy)

Transperineal Prostate Biopsy

TURP (trans-urethral resection of the prostate)

Radical prostatectomy (removal of the prostate)


TURBT (trans-urethral resection of bladder tumour)

Cystolithopaxy (fragmenting and removal of bladder stones)

Insertion of suprapubic catheter (SPC)

Continence slings and artificial urinary sphincters (AUS)

Radical cystectomy (removal of the bladder) and reconstruction (Neobladder of Ileal Conduit)

Kidney and ureter:

Ureterososcopy (camera up the ureter) and stone fragmentation (e.g. laser, pneumatic, lithotripsy)

Partial nephrectomy (small portion of kidney removed)

Radical nephrectomy (entire kidney removed)

Adrenalectomy (adrenal gland removal)

PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) for kidney stones

Donor nephrectomy (removal of a normal kidney for donation)

Ureteric pelvis reconstruction (pyeloplasty)


Hydrocele repair (fluid around the testicle)


Orchidectomy (removal of the testicle)



This team of highly-experienced nurses can assist patients with acquiring and using continence equipment. They provide assistance with urodynamics and diagnostic investigations, as well as general counselling, advice and support for all urology patients.
